United Arab Emirates’ Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Minister in charge of Talent Attraction and Retention.
I care about making the business world more equitable for female entrepreneurs than it was when I started.
I had the privilege of attending an open discussion at the delegates meeting led by Sir Anthony Ritossa Global Family Office, hosted by His Excellency Dr. Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi is the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Minister in charge of Talent Attraction and Retention.
I asked H.E. Dr. Thani what message I should relay to my fellow female entrepreneurs in my country and community about the #UAE’s ongoing efforts to create an attractive and competitive environment for talent, SPECIFICALLY for Women Entrepreneurs who are interested in entering the UAE market?
H.E. Dr. Thani's answer was that the UAE is positioned as a world-leading, investment-friendly nation and the international epicenter of global business opportunities. Dubai is open and welcomes any female entrepreneurs for business globally.
These weren't just words. Within the same day following the discussion, I received resourceful information, support, and openness to collaborate from the Office of the Minister of State For Foreign Trade, H.E. Dr. Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi; Chief of Staff, Maryam Alloz; and Senior Advisors, Dr. Yasar Jarrar, PhD, and Kayaan K. Unwalla.
Speaking from my own experience, I was impressed by the action taken by his excellency and his leadership team. This made me feel like my voice was heard and I was welcomed and shown support. As part of my journey to advocate for women entrepreneurs, I hope to encourage and promote meaningful synergies for female entrepreneurs who are interested in entering the UAE market where they will get support and thrive.
Once again, thank you Sir Anthony Ritossa and Vanessa A. Eriksson for arranging such a great meeting that enabled Esteemed Delegates to speak directly with the leadership from the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
