In my recent interview with Carmelo Caggia, Founder at Creative Solutions, Europe & UAE, and Former CNBC Italy, TV Anchor, I shared my thoughts on the three days I spent at the 17th Sir Anthony Ritossa’s Global Family Office Investment Summit.
As a private advisory to US-Asia family offices, I see the key factors they consider for their expansion in the near future:
**UAE is a Hub for Europe, Asia, and other regions due to its strategic position between east and west.
**UAE is a Gateway to new business opportunities--both B2B and B2G--with forward-thinking Leaders coupled with progressive policies, proactive implementation, and openness of the government to investments and trades.
**UAE is already established in Global Innovation, Global Competitiveness, and Global Entrepreneurship, especially with the recent announcement of “Projects of the 50”-- new initiatives to coincide with the UAE 50th anniversary, such as a new “Green Visa,” which is a catalyst to attract International investors and Entrepreneurs in sectors like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Digital Currencies.
I believe that the trend in UAE is to become a Silicon Valley of the Middle East: Hub of Tech & innovation focused on Artificial intelligence, Blockchain, and Digital currencies. Because People attract people, Innovators attract investors.
As an Entrepreneur, I'm open to expanding from US-Asia to UAE, investing and/or partnering with other companies and other investors in the UAE region.
My best investment by far has been in People, Relationships, Trust, and Values. And that is what I experienced during the three days I spent at the 17th Sir Anthony Ritossa’s Global Family Office Investment Summit. I saw global leaders in all areas of investing, entrepreneurship, and innovation coming together. I received more knowledge and shared my knowledge.
Thank you to Sir Anthony, Vanessa A. Eriksson, and the Ritossa team--you created a dynamic atmosphere where mutual trust was established, values are shared; entrepreneurs and innovators explored collaboration opportunities like nothing I've ever seen before. The Pandemic is not over, and the world is not safe. There are still challenges ahead of us. But together, we can and we are going to make a huge impact on the world!!
“It was a great pleasure to have you speak at the 17th Anniversary Ritossa and share your thought leadership with our group. I especially enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the UAE's prominence as a gateway for new business opportunities and its commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship. This is a great interview and I appreciate your many contributions!”
