Thank you, my parents, for giving me the wealth from our family which is “VALUES, DEDICATION, & INTEGRITY.” I have been using these Principles through my own ventures and Entrepreneurship. You have always put our family first. I witnessed you work tirelessly to build our family business, but I have also seen you give back. To my mom, you are my biggest inspiration and influence. Growing up, not only have I witnessed your values, dedication, and integrity through your entrepreneurship. You set a great example of what it means to be a woman, loving, kind, passionate, and a good person. I'm who I am today because of you.
Last but not least, I am grateful to my husband, Isaac, an amazing, caring, and kind-hearted person and one of the biggest gifts in my life. You supported me to pursue my dreams, stood by me, and believed in me, even when tornados hit me during the process.
Receiving this award makes me reflect upon the past. Much of my appreciation of life has come through mistakes, failures, and broken trust. Now I see problems as opportunities. I see challenges in both life and business as opportunities to improve myself, become wiser, and find better solutions. “Sometimes the WORST things that happen in our lives put us on the path to the BEST things in our lives.”
What does this lead me to? To meet extraordinary People, build Relationships based on Trust and shared Values to make an IMPACT for a BETTER TOMORROW.”
This award is not just for me. I would like to dedicate it to Female Founders and Women Entrepreneurs who are pursuing their dreams. Women Entrepreneurs are one of the blessings of life. I am here to present their voices. To all Female Founders and Women Entrepreneurs: never doubt that you are valuable, never doubt your freedom to make your own choices, and never take no for an answer.
What is ahead of us? I truly believe that: “The liberty of a woman comes from within.” —from our internal compasses and our inner voices. For all these reasons, I would like to encourage world leaders to make female equality their top priority! What would you do to support female equality?
